VIDEO PRESENTATIONS

Submission Guidelines & Details

You are kindly invited to submit scientific contributions via video to be presented during the meeting. Abstracts of the Video may only be submitted using the electronic abstract submission system and must meet the following criteria:

  1. The abstract must not exceed 300 words.
  2. Abstracts must be written in English, explained abbreviations may be used.
  3. Graphs and Tables are not allowed.


All Abstracts must follow the required structure:

  1. Introduction
  2. Objectives
  3. Results
  4. Conclusions

The work submitted may be from any surgical specialty, and it may take the form of clinical trials, surgical procedures, or any other form of unpublished original work.

Guidelines for Preparation and Uploading Video Presentations

All registered authors with accepted abstracts should prepare and upload a pre-recorded video of their presentation. This is a prerequisite for a paper to be included in the Conference Programme.

The pre-recorded videos will be available to the participants during the Conference.
Please note that the file of your presentation must follow the following specifications:

Video File Format: MP4, viewable from QuickTime and Windows Media Player
Preferred Dimensions: 1980 x 1080
Aspect Ratio: 4:3
Video Orientation: Landscape
Video Duration: 10 minutes

It is recommended that your pre-recorded presentation includes a window box with the speaking presenter via a webcam, instead of a voice-over presentation only. 

Reminder: All participants must be available for the Q&A session during their presentation slot. 

Video submissions are to be sent to the secretariat at secretariat@csamm.asm.org.my via WeTransfer.

  • UPON SUCCESSFUL REGISTRATION, YOU WILL OBTAIN YOUR CUSTOMER ID.

  • YOU MUST USE THE ABSTRACT TEMPLATE PROVIDED.
  • DOWNLOAD THE ABSTRACT TEMPLATE HERE
[STEP 3]
SUBMIT ONLINE
  • LOG IN TO THE ONLINE ABSTRACT SUBMISSION PAGE BY USING YOUR CUSTOMER ID.
  • Upon successful submission, you will be assigned an Abstract Number.
    You should save this number for reference and communication purposes.
